I have recently set up a 60hp direct coupled pump mounted on a frame with 4 wheels which has the flexible suction pipe on the same axis as the pump/motor. The unit is on the rivers edge with a suction lift of 3ft, everything works fine but I feel it is not meeting its output as per the pump curves, is it because the angle of the pump/motor axis to the water is at 21deg to horizontal, does it need to be level.

want to know downtime cost estimate, mean time to repair, logistics support, and any other information relating to heat exchanger maintenance

I have a Gloworm boiler and I have got a plumber to look at it he said the heat exchanger needs replacing. Also the diverter valve. If the heater exchanger was not working would I still be able to get the heating to work?

I heard that in chemical engineering there is no deep chemistry involved but rather chemical engineering is a combination of different things.
In petroleum what do you need to study?
