		<description>yes it should sit on some kind of flue that keeps it off the exchanger, but more than likely didnt cause your leak problem. most of the time the exchanger goes out is because of poor chemical balance in the water. i dont know all the details of your pool so im accusing you of something, but you did get 6 years out of your heater. which is pretty good.</description>
