if main steam header pressure is 160psi.Will Pressure regulation at inlet of heat exchanger help to descipate more heat?
actually i want to know how to define the power required for air cooled heat exchanger fan. thanx!
It’s a Marthon 27′ cabin cruiser with a Chevy/OMC 350 stern drive. I would like to convert it and was wondering what the cheapest and best way to do this is. I want to take it in salt water for extended periods and I don’t want to ruin the motor. I’ve been researching heat exchangers but it’s kind of confusing. Any advise appreciated, thanks.
want to know downtime cost estimate, mean time to repair, logistics support, and any other information relating to heat exchanger maintenance
Other diagrams I’ve seen either show a ‘flue collector’ that the flue rests on, holding it several inches above teh heat exchanger, of include a tab on the flue that I assume might keep the bottom of the flue opening several inches above the exchanger? This is a laars lite 175 model. I’ve just had to replace the exchanger and wonder if this may be part of the reason that it began leaking after only 6 years.
Is it hot fluid steam and cold fluid feed enter heat exchanger?
is the heating &domestic water mixing ?caused by an old heat exchanger ?
I plan to design the microchannel heat exchanger for seawater desalination plant, by using naval brass and titanium as its materials.
i’m doing this experiment on heat exchanger. I’m supposed to discuss the effect of changing the flow rate on the overall heat transfer coefficient as well as the effect on the temperature and efficiency. I need some help so anything would be great.
Our house has heat recovery ventilation. The time regulated controls never worked, so it is always set to min. But the shower room gets very condensated, and we have to manualy up the ventilation speed. The shower is operated from a heat exchanger off the boiler, and activated by a flow sensor (mains electric) Any ideas on how to set the ventilation unit to high speed when showering???
